February 20-26, 2023

I guess it was a fairly routine and uneventful week for us.  I don't even have any photos to share except one of the Sisters when they stopped by our apartment to tell us goodbye.

Sister Ledding flew home Friday morning and is with her family in Saskatoon Saskatchewan.  Sister Schaffer is on Prince Edward Island with her new companion.  I'm a little jealous.  Of her being on PEI, not the new companion.

We started a new Temple Preparation class on Wednesday evening.  There are only three participants we meet in this class.  The fourth was to begin individual teaching after church today but he didn't come to church, so not sure what's happening with him yet.

We were able to attend a temple session Saturday morning.  If you haven't been to the temple lately, we highly recommend it.  The recent changes made the experience much sweeter for me.

On the way home from the temple we saw some ice fisherman on the river.  They had their tents and chairs set up and fishing poles in hand.  They were on the seaway section and not the actual river, which freezes more quickly and firmly than the river currents allow.  It would have been a great picture but we were on the freeway and there was no safe place to pull over.
