So yer in Canada, eh?

We bought these jackets at Carnaval last weekend and wore them Saturday when we visited Sucrerie Bonaventure.  This place wasn't nearly as fun as the sugar shack we went to last spring.  The food wasn't as good or plentiful; the wagon was pulled by this tractor instead of horses and we didn't see any of the maple trees on the ride.  It is a bit early and cold still for the sugaring to have started.  We were disappointed but it was fun to be with other senior missionaries for a couple of hours.

And we enjoyed rolling and eating the tire sur la neige (taffy on the snow).

On Valentine's Day we took treats to some of the older widows in the ward.  It's always fun to visit with them and hear their life stories.

We had our last District Council before transfers next week.  Sister Ledding is going home to Saskatchewan.  She just learned that she has been accepted into BYU so we'll be able to see her again when we return to Utah.  We received a few missionaries from the Mexico City MTC, here temporarily while they wait for visas to enter Argentina.

  1. Our stake patriarch Steve Atkin ans his wife Penny have a friend that you know where you are. I believe they said her first name is Magda. She was on the far left in the picture with Alex? the really tall gentleman. They showed me the picture and you and John were on the far right. They asked me if you were related. They thought it was great that it's really is such a small world.
