This will probably be the shortest blog post in history - no photos and nothing to write about!

John caught my Covid cough and runny nose late last week.  He was sure it was just a cold, as he had no other symptoms.  I convinced him to do a test and sure enough, positive.  I still tested positive as well.  So we've had another week of isolation.  Except for fatigue and the lingering cough we both feel pretty good now.  Saturday morning we both tested positive again, so have to give it another few days.

We did teach early morning seminary and were back in bed by 7:30 for a couple more hours of sleep!

Thank you for all your concern and prayers on our behalf.  While we are grateful for the extra study time, TV we wouldn't normally be watching, and the opportunity to slow down, we are very anxious to get back to work and do something more productive.

"Isaac did not become an Abraham or a Jacob.  He did not reach the heights of Abraham, called the "Father of the faithful."  Nor was he as impressive as his son Israel, father of the twelve tribes.  Yet Isaac is loved and revered.  He worshiped God, cared for his home and pursued his work.  He is remembered simply as a man of peace.  The eloquent simplicity of his life and his unique ability to lend importance to the commonplace made him great."  (A Theodore Tuttle, October 1972)

  3. Hi Karen, Sorry it's taken me a while to answer. My procedure went well. No more Kidney stone! I go in Monday to have the stint removed. Not looking forward to that. Joyce is my husbands Aunt. She lives right across the street from us. Bob died last October a week or so before his birthday. We help Joyce a lot. I mow her lawn once a week and Tony takes care of the edging, weeding, sprinklers etc. She and Tony's mom come over to our home every Sunday after church and we have dinner and watch UNSHAKEN on YouTube. We take them both to the temple every Thursday and we do two endowment sessions. We took them both to Utah in January and they stayed with Tony's sister in Bountiful while we went to Eagle Mountain and watched Heather's 3 kids. (She is my youngest daughter) Anyway, we see Joel , Cindy and Heidi frequently but JoDell and Dave and Lona on occasion because they both live too far away. Anyway, I told her hi from you. She is doing well for a 94 year old. (soon to be anyway) My sister Lorie and her husband are in Astoria visiting my mom who will turn 100 on July 6th. She is doing pretty well. She doesn't hear a thing though. Hope all is well with you and your husband. Hope you are recovered from Covid!! We've been so lucky and have never caught it. We work at the temple Saturday mornings and we had one ordinance worker pass from it last year. His wife still works. Love ya girlfriend. Would love to see you some time.
